Nemisis School of MMA is extremely empressive. They have everything a MMA Competitor needs to prepare for fight; great training facility, subject matter experts for each martial art style offered and devoted teamates that work with and encourage each other to better themselves in martial arts as well as improve overall moral character. The coaches go out of their way to invest time and energy into students that show devotion and determination. When Nemisis fighters go to competitions they are there to win, the quality of training shows when they step into the cage and dominate their opponents consistantly at many venues. I definitely recommend Nemisis to anyone interested in getting involved in the sport or perfect any skills they already have in martial arts. ~ R K
I’ve been attending this gym since approximately 2017. Since I started my jiu-jitsu journey, I’ve learned a lot of valuable information relative to my career field. Mr. Medley and his wife do a great job with all aspects of running a successful martial arts gym, offering different programs such as Muay Thai, boxing and even other classes for young children and teenagers. I’ve always felt welcomed and had no complaints with the service and quality of the content that is being taught. I have a great amount of respect for Mr. Medley and his establishment and will continue to train there. I encourage anyone who’s interested in learning a new skill set and wants to enhance their mental and physical capabilities to give it a try. I did and I’m pleased with my results. ~ Kyler C
I’ve always wanted to try Muai Thai so like others, I did the free trail just out of curiosity. Not going to lie, I’m out of shape, ashamed of it, was nervous to show up. The hardest thing I’ve done was walking through that door. Coach Earl and Tierra were both VERY welcoming and supportive. I kept getting frustrated that I was messing up (something that I thought should be easy) but coach Earl was super supportive, didn’t make me feel bad, and gave some great advice and helped me improve. If you’re looking for a welcoming place, no matter what stage you’re at. Tennessee BJJ academy is your place. I’m a few lessons in and I’m hooked. Coach Earl ~ Joshua R
